Proudly representing the seaside parish of Westmoreland, Jamaica, Darren is a devout Secondary School Science Educator in a volatile institution, proud Roman Catholic Christian, aspiring Justice of the Peace, and a lover of Human Rights, Volunteerism, and Justice.
Darren has always enjoyed democratic leadership and the study of community dynamics for equitable and sustainable relationships; and from these developed an appreciation and interest in Jamaican Intellectual Product Development, Music and the wider Performing Arts.
With his experiences as a Distinguished District Governor of the Circle K International Caribbean District, Chairman of the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church and Outreach Ministries, and promoter of accessible and quality education in Jamaica, he intends as Mister Tourism Jamaica, to coordinate social media and community-based initiatives that seek to empower unattached youth to beat status quo through personal and professional development under his signature ‘Transcending Transformation Program’.
He believes that while there are eight (8) billion plus individuals on Earth, we each have a unique role to play, and are a special part of what makes Earth become OUR WORLD.
